I finished two AMAZING #mglit books this week and think you need to immediately add them to your classroom AND #TBRlist @MLConklin and @LeslieConnor29 did an exceptional writing characters and situations that are relatable. I honestly could not put either of these down!

My kids and I can’t wait for the next Jasmine Green Rescues books! Who doesn’t love a good animal rescue?! @Candlewick #CIRCPrize

My head space has not been one to physically read lately, but @librofm for the audio win lately! #BeforeTheEverAfter by @JackieWoodson was beautiful and touching. #punchingtheair by @dr_yusefsalaam and Ibi Zoboi was a profound and necessary read. #IPROMISE by @KingJames was cute!

Lou discovers family, friends and the power of community as she works through an SPD diagnosis among other things! @jamiesumner_ is tuned in to writing about children with challenges and she does it again! Out 9/1 and a must order for #middlegrade

Started my next @NetGalley read last night and I love it! @jamiesumner_ writes realistic fiction for kids and tells stories we don’t often hear. Love her style and characters! Lou has an incredible voice, but lots of challenges behind that. Out in September through @SimonKIDS

@NetGalley for the win this week! I was able to review upcoming releases from two of my favorites @Barbaradee2 and @barbaraoconnor Both books dealing with heavy issues involving siblings and friendships and both written incredibly well. These will be must haves for the mg class
