The darker color is Kiana's neck shading, and the lighter is her face. If we were to take the darker color (which, again, people WILL do to try and make their argument sound right) and apply it to the lighter colors... it looks REAL bad.

There's lots of misinformation about the idea of how art style doesn't affect coloring and somehow is just people being racist towards PoC because people don't understand art. Here are the lightest colored pieces of my character Kiana vs the darkest colored piece.
