Are there any sources that talk about the strategic situation of the Clone Wars? Which side had the initiative year to year, month to month? To my untrained eye, it just seems like a ton of random, disconnected battles.

Help me out here, when the Warthog was first introduced to the UNSC, "AMG Transport Dynamics received over three dozen exclusivity contracts". How can you have multiple exclusivity contracts? Wouldn't that make it... not exclusive?
The entire concept for the Earhart Flotilla was largely inspired by the amazing artwork of Liang Mark. But spaceships aside, the guy does some beautiful landscapes as well!
