I am not sure if anyone could answer this but is there a reason why the animation in GE999 looks really dated? Like even for 70s standards it looks very dirty and stiff.

It honestly surprises me that both of the original voice actors for Tetsuro and Maetel are still playing the characters after all these years. Just goes to show how desiccated they are to their jobs
