Most of the time though everyone knows each other in the extended group and has a good idea of who they work well with by the time they get to the age where they think about joining the war sorties.

if they don't have a partner chosen while growing up, then the games come in! They are a great casual way to find a partner you work well with! Even partnered pairs will trade riders during games to add to the fun!
