I also feel like the Amber/Eve stuff in the comic is a super boring cliche, like I get that Eve does find Mark attractive but I far prefer show Eve/Amber's dynamic where they can just be friends without this weird pettiness.
A superhero AND a detective? You're right, Mark, that's too many things. 🙄
Love the simplicity of Mark just dropping a rock on the dude, makes sense that Immortal would approve, it's a very "When in doubt, throw them into space" move. Also, I really do like Show Rae more than comic Ray.
So like, Amber is in the right to be upset here, but it baffles me how much people prefer comic Amber over show Amber... like, it says something about the audience that they can't handle when a woman sets boundaries in a relationship.
Man, this dialogue did not age well... Oh, early 00s casual homophobia, how I do not miss you.
Tensions are rising...and Cecil is not a person you wanna be on the wrong side of.
Look, I get it, but like, I can't think of a more disrespectful move than to ask Debbie to raise this child.
It's hard to imagine this scene playing out with show Debbie, I'm so curious to see how they handle it.
Again, it's really interesting how fascinated with the concept of deviated aging Kirkman is, to me it feels like him sort of tugging at the feeling of timelessness in most cape comics, in a lot of comics time is at the behest of the story, so in Invincible it's the biggest enemy.
