[ CW // Explicit Gore ]
Once again Invincible redefines itself as the goriest superhero comic book on the shelf. While not its sole appeal, it's hard to argue that it isn't shocking every time, which really is a testament to Ottley and the colorists.
Some absolutely stunning splash pages in this issue. Those colors really bring the whole thing together with a sense of polish that is just next level.
Fun to see that Kursk and Furnace are still on Titans pay roll
We get this absolutely gorgeous back up story with colors by Kelsey Shannon (who I wish would have done more work on the series) detailing just how Cecil became the man he is today...
I love how truly bad this fight gets, like we begin assuming Mark is gonna have this in the bag only to find out we have severely underestimated Cecil's ability to neutralize him.
It's been shown before but I love that Rex's new implants require him to do the Spider-Man hand gesture to figure off explosives
I get that Rudy is probably doing something to summon his Robot suit but he just looks so funny and awkward in this panel that is otherwise a very hype moment
