After doing the full 3d sculpt of this concept, turns out there had been a misunderstanding and the right holders didn’t approve of it at all lol. So I had to scrap it and start over a new concept following stuff like having to do Lelouch with legs close to each others.

From got real good at 3d faces, makes me all the more frustrated that we could have had some top notch depictions of the Demon’s Souls NPCs if they had done the remake instead.

Funnily enough, I do have one character in classic kimono and she’s gigaflat. She’ll appear later in my manga Ramia-Yana.

While there is contrast there is my other character, Osumihime, who is extremely curvy but more wears a skimpier outfit partially inspired by kimonos.

Wonder if Ride on King is at risk of getting cancelled considering the current events. It’s a fun and very well drawn isekai manga with some king of parody of Putin as MC, a president obsessed with riding things. It’s more based on the meme version of Putin basically.
