Face/Off is an unironically amazing movie. It’s stunts and bombastic action aged into this beautiful fine wine, the symbolism and storytelling is genuinely brilliant, and the acting is (mostly) great with Cage and Trovolta really shining like they are known to do.
I loved it.
Incredibles 2 is an amazingly animated movie that doesn’t pull its punches. It asks serious questions and looks at supers in some new lights. My only gripe is that some of the questions asked aren’t fully answered, but still an Incredible and fun movie.
Deadpool 2 is a much more serious take on the hilarious anti-hero, sacrificing comedy for a more meaningful message. Aside from some jokes that I think fell flat even when I understood them, it’s a very good movie with some killer action and strong character development.
I guess it’s close enough that I should get festive again. Once again, the work of the talented @Stydoghetti
Soooo there’s been a change in the schedule for Friday, soooo to ensure that I complete Bayonetta on time, this morning will be play that instead.
