Okay look, for as creepy as we can all agree Mr. mime is, the fact they made it's ide pose so full of energy is such an awesome move. They could've easily made it stand up straight with it's arms at its side, hardly moving, yet here we are with something great!

Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee have almost the exact same idle loop, except where hitmonchan's makes sense as a boxer, Hitmonlee looks boring in comparison. It's already an incredibly strange design it really needs to be more dynamic, like, I dunno, a leg in the air or something?

Gengar has more amazing animations than almost any other pokemon that exists, and like Nidoking, has a very simple idle loop that provides more personality than almost any other pokemon that exists.

I mean COME ON

I despise all tiny two legged cats. Especially this one.
Is it alive?
Somebody call a vet I think it's atrophied.

You know how a lot of Ninetales art has it sitting down with it's tails enveloping it? Why did they decide to make one of the most majestic pokemon stand around like it's in trouble for eating something it shouldn't?

There doesn't have to be much movement to give them some personality. Nidoking looks like it's more battle ready than a massive amount of the roster due to a small amount of motion.

Raticate moves the most realistically like an actual rat than literally any other rodent pokemon and I love it.

Squirtle looks really playful and energetic,
Wartortle looks like it's ready for combat,
Blastoise looks like it's stuck and can't move it's arms, or that it's just straight up t-posing.
And of course those cannons are just decorations, it's real battle weapon is it's face.
