The Pack characters went through various name changes during development. Jack & the Pack was originally to be called "Helpful Harry & Friends", Oliver & Buster had their names switched, Ned was a female named "Sophie" & even Elizabeth (not a pack member) was originally "Grumpy".
In the original story, Donald & Douglas clear the line infront of Thomas, while James & Edward pull Thomas & the Christmas Tree free from the opposite end. At Tidmouth, the 4 of them are thanked by Santa for rescuing Thomas.

As a kid, the Snow Song made me think there was a S5 episode that I hadn't seen before; where Sir Topham Hatt almost freezes to death & his grandchildren accidently turn him into a snowman without knowing its him.
In the magazines, Henry goes to the Works with Percy and we see a blue version of him there. This engine is also an ill engine like how Henry was.
