Some screenshots of the process I use to make these portraits..
I start with linework, then add shading, then add where I want my bright light source to be, and finally I add it around bumps and curves to create a ‘glow’

@TajmrK This is Julian, and he’d be at the table farthest away from the roudiest table with a few hamburgers laughing with everyone else at his picnic table. He’s not one to be up in the center of things but he doesn’t mind joining in on the fun from a distance

I got to work on Sunnyside, OC illustrations and fan art. Part 2 was being done this year. At the start of the year I was using microns and my Lightbox to traditionally ink and by the end I was inking digitally! I also moved in w/ my beautiffulllll gf!

2015 was a brainstorming year. I Love GB had just started becoming Sunnyside and I was working on concept art. This was the first year I drew Rabbit Suit Julian! and between concept stuff I worked on lots of fan-art! lol specifically Pkmn haha

I don't have much work from 2014. It was a bumpy year. I was working two jobs that year and towards the end I lost my grandfather so work really declined This year I also got away from inking such rigid lines in illustrator; my style got more fluid
