@GoranGligovic I recall seeing a thread about this before, and an interesting counter-example was Disney’s Hercules, where the final designs were actually quite close to the very stylistic initial concept art

“Sing a Bit of Harmony” was really good! Exactly the kind of optimistic scifi I like, and legitimately a musical. Haven’t heard nearly as much hype for this one as for “Belle”, but I liked it a lot

"Meikyu: Labrynth Kingdom" was an interesting LN. I suspected it was based on a TTRPG, and thats explicitly confirmed in the epilogue. Some cool concepts; the lead is basically Bear Grylls, and the world a fantasy "Blame!"
