Saw this meme floating around and did my own version.

Main protagonist comes into contact with a black cloth-like being that, when worn, gives our hero powers alongside a transformation.

Also the ending includes both falling to Earth with their "alien" friend burning up, assumed dead, giving their final goodbye to their human pal.
