Drekir are an r-selective polygnandrous species so they crank out a lot of eggs over a year (5-7 individually on average). Pregnancy usually only lasts about 14-17 days and isn't typically restrictive on the female outside of extreme physical exertion so it's not a big deal

just some practice doodles, fiddling with some different brush textures and drawing some different drek poses, no real lore here at the end of the day
