The reason why 'No one noticed' is because:
a) this was a completely astroturfed story that Comics Beat and Bleeding Cool colluded on, and pushed (along with the Whisper Network)
b) NONE of the people pushing this narrative ACTUALLY READ or care about comics--they're activists
