I look at the concept art of Disney's Robin Hood for inspiration for my style, and I found this concept art of Sheriff Wolf.

In some of the arts, he looks a bit goofier and silly, the OG character was meant to be a bit more silly

I found out that theres an episode where Goofy tells the story of his ancestor, Goofin Hood, and its basically the story of Robin Hood with him

And Pete IS the Sheriff.
So yeah, I can pretent that Sheriff Wolf and Pete are one in the same now.
