I fixed my REALLY stupid mistake with this piece, and now it looks much better.
His collar bone was far too low. I am still learning anatomy, and realized that was throwing me off. Luckily, I was able to go back and fix it.
This is Ares, my vampire OC.
@ShiroiShi888 Thanks for this chance! I'll try for my half dragon, Sam Viper.
@ace_of_dragons Cool thanks for this! :)
I'm a new artist. This is my progress after 100 days of art (I only count days I do art) from 0 prior experience at all. Been quite a journey, and I'm looking forward to where I am next year. I started in March 2020.
For comparison sake (ugh), here are the older drawings I did of him.
First one: When I started
Second: Most recent aside from this
I hate looking back at my old and far worse art, BUT I can see clear progress, which is the major thing!
Day 100 of learning digital art! It's Ares!
One of my main OCs is my 100th-day-finished-drawing ^^
He is the lead protagonist of "The Dancing Crow", a book I wrote.
And he's a good bean!
Anyway, I tried clothing texture here more, and fine details with lines.
OH RIGHT REFERENCE PICTURES FOR COMPARISON
So these are previous pieces of mine, to show my improvement thus far.
First one: When I just started.
Second: most recent aside from this one.
@Akanetto2 Thanks for this chance! I will try for Sam Viper, my half-dragon character :)
Comparison points:
First picture: When I first started
Second picture: More recent but with anatomy issues
Slowly improving, I would say!
@gynesisx You're making me pick one?! How dare you!!!
Alright, alright. Let me nab a favorite. Ugh this is so hard. I can't pick between these two.
*short circuits with 'BUT WHAT ABOUT [insert one of the many pieces I've got here]'*
@CloverErotica I've multiple OCs in my current WIP, but it's about learning magic at a college!
This is Professor Luna, the first OC met when stepping into my urban fantasy. She's destined to become a powerful blood mage. I'm proud of my magic & worldbuilding!
