@KurtBusiek @JerryOrdway The famous Garcia-Lopez licensing book DID indeed try to push Plastic-Man; there was a cartoon AND a syndicated show where an actor played Plas. Superfriends, more than the Filmation series, made Aquaman a household name -- it was on for 10+ years, featuring him prominently.

WW was a licensing darling as of the '70s b/c she was featured in both the H-B cartoon & the live series, but—as @JerryOrdway intimated—the comic ran at a loss for decades. But the '80s licensing book AND all '70s/'80s Superero stuff featured her.

@LiamRSharp @PeteDoree I'd been saying for years that comics should be in seasons -- my entire line of books is planned out that way.

Publishers I've pitched this to seem to think this idea -- & others I had to make the books more palatable & easier to follow -- were crazy.

@lizzylynngarcia @AshesThanDust Ah. I see what you mean. Perhaps we're on parallel tracks to thus never meet in the middle (and that's OK, it's what makes the world go 'round)😉.
I'm thinking more the image on left (Ghost...), while it SEEMS you're thinking more of what's on the right (Spirited...).

@arc_blog I'm not crazy about the suit in these photos (it might look far better on screen w/proper lighting & lensing of course), but that dude, while not as bulky as the Walker from the comics, DOES look a lot like he did when Kieron Dwyer was drawing him.

Very cool #VENOM cover, from the waves symbol to the Venom tongue coming out of the island in the form of spewing lava & smoke...

Would love to know WHAT it's based on since Bagley signed it "After @RyanStegman and..." is that Romita? Can't see it.
