So on the left we have the Original B.A.R.D. field operations uniform that was in use from the late 60s through to 91.
It got the job done as far as function, but… Not a looker
On the right is the current Field Operations uniform.
The helmet has become more of an as needed thing

It’s function should be pretty obvious, however an interesting point about B.A.R.D Field uniforms if that Standard work conditions often include exposure certain levels of… stuff
