First attack of #artfight! Ajisai for Dioscuri

Years back I played the 3rd installment in the Silent Hill franchise, and from there I was hooked. Took some time to do a redraw of an image I did years ago. Silent Hill has been one of my major inspirations for psychological horror, and I absolutely love it. (new vs. original)

So I'm using SH3 monster references for some art, and happen to notice this little detail on the Closer monster. It looks like...katakana? @adsk4 is this a signature, or does it say something else (if anything at all?)
