Hello #PortfolioDay , I'm Sphinx and I'm a digital artist that loves illustration and character design.

@duolingo is great because it teaches me human languages but also inspires my creative mind and makes me think about fictional languages, particularly alien ones! As an illustrator, I fell in love with Duolingo's cute style and had to reimagine one of my characters in it.

Revisting some old fan gems and realizing that I really love developing characters in layers. Exploring body shapes and how their outfits fit is really fun. This is Obsidian, and they are basically an embodiment of sadism. #sketch #characterdesign #su #stevenuniverse #fangem
