Heard #DnDcharacter is trending, thought I’d throw my emotionally struggling little ones into the pot. These are Looney, Vydar, Flich, and Icaelus (Ike).
Futzed around with it some more, and while it’s still a WIP I definitely like this Mr. Darcy inspired look more. Also, thank you @hskachu for posting this amazing art earlier and helping me realize what I was actually trying to do with this pieceZ love your stuff.
@ace_of_dragons Hey guys, it’s been a while! I’m SpoonQueen, a D&D artist who specializes in character art! Been on a bit of an art hiatus, but hopefully that’s turning around. (Blue Kobold belongs to @motherofcode)
The fun thing about playing/drawing a Changeling is that consistent facial features are more of a suggestion. 😂 Also, here’s a bonus version of the portrait with Looney being a little more herself, in terms of what coloration she chooses. She likes the Changeling phantom look.
“I always hated that dress. It was really…forming fitting. It…it didn’t allow me room to be myself.”
A portrait from back when Looney kept up appearances for her parents, before she embraced what she truly loved about herself (see right). Thanks @AdorkaStock for the poses!
@LachanceMyriel Thank you! It’s one of my favorites. I came up with the original design, and this one’s my work, but I took heavy inspiration from @leaf_saw’s interpretation of him.
Did this originally as a joke, but now I’m actually really enjoying drawing these kinds of heads whenever I need tokens in D&D games I run. Minimal, to the point, but still cute. #dnd
