Me: None of my characters smile because they’re edgy or internally broken/ conflicted, and thus it shows their passive, internal expression.

Actual answer: Just doesn’t freaking know how to draw smiles.

Haven’t been able to forget this sketch, so decided to color it. Because some days we’re all just scared little goblins, and that’s okay.

Unique, positive dilemma of having other amazing artists draw your characters: you now use their work as a reference instead of your own😆

This art from @JustMissArt is amazing and has me desperately trying to cannibalize all of the things I love about it into Flich’s design as soon as possible.

(Also got inspired to play with some expressions. This would be her seeing a certain giant she’s running from)
