Just read @MatthewVealey’s Ottis Stein! OS #1 is a comic full of potential. The wildly unique black and white art has a strong underground abstraction, and the story takes wild and unexpected turns. The first issue has a solid base that I think will bloom with subsequent issues.

William Marston, creator of Wonder Woman, was likely not the feminist icon that his creation became. In fact he seemed to fetishize and exploit women in his real life. However, that does not take away from the icon he created. Sometimes the creation is greater then the creator.
