Loose, light and lots of movement, that's my aim with floral pastel #painting. I rarely use #pastel pencils, I try to keep to the sticks, it restricts my fussing to a minimum and gets fresher results - and those colours!

I used a super warm palette for this #landscape. Mostly reds, with violets on the hills and a peachy sky. Soft pastel is the best medium for colour intensity, sometimes a bit of work is needed just to calm it down.
