But seriously, Kubo’s art deserves all the praise. I pretty much have little problems with it, and yes, even though Kubo doesn’t draw the background art as much in later arcs, I don’t really have a problem with it because of how much he makes up for it in designs and power ups.

Another thing that I didn’t expect would be Ukitake’s involvement in all of this. Yhwach finally gets his hands on the Soul King, but Mimihagi wouldn’t let that happen easily.

Domain expansion in Bleach, huh.

Volume 65 left us off with Kenpachi’s ass about to be finished, and then IchiGOAT arrives. Ichigo flexes his Getsuga Juujishou, which was hype, until Yhwach cuts their duel early by revealing that he’ll be able to move on top.

My top 6 favorite characters still remains relatively the same, so here are my top 3 new favorite characters introduced in this arc:

Finished Baccano. ✅

Such a great single season anime. Solid cast of characters initially having no connections have their stories interwove by the end with non-linear storytelling, with a phenomenal jazz soundtrack to boot and an incredible English dub.

Next up, the art.

Kubo continues to deliver. The transformations and powers that the characters have were incredible to wtiness, especially the Arrancars’ Ressurecion abilities, Soul Reapers’ Bankai, and of course, Ichigo’s Mugetsu. He never fails to make fights enjoyable.

Out of all of Ichigo’s allies, Orihime takes the spotlight to me. Even if Orihime is supposedly like Rukia in Soul Society, that doesn’t stop Kubo from making her someone to sympathize for with how much she suffers emotionally, physically, and psychologically.
