Consumed - "Sorcerers are able to tap into the nether and draw powerful spells from within it, however each time they do so it deteriorates their mind, leading to them becoming eventually consumed by it unless they are careful."

Inside the nether are creatures that tempt those who enter it with desirable concepts such as power, knowledge and salvation. The first two are fairly obvious, but the third, not so much.
