.@HoldenMedia team Christmas lunch @bullandbearmcr @StockExHotel today. Everyone had a monumentally overindulgent blast, which they deserved after an incredible year of @nrbmanchester, @mcrartfair and @mcrcontemporary. Thanks to @cheftomkerridge and team for sending out treats.

I popped into @mcrartgallery this week and found Halima Cassell's amazing exhibition. Hand carved sculptures in concrete, resin and marble, they're hypnotically sinuous, reminiscent of fossils or natural crystal formations, both organic and artificial, and really very beautiful.
