This lovely Japanese Woodcut is called "Aji Fish and Kuruma-ebi" by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797–1858). He is famous for his series called 'One Hundred views of Edo' which were copied by Van Gogh!
This example is from a series called "Uozukushi" which means 'Every Variety of Fish'. 🐟
So many others but great work by @Euphanerops who drew a very gulpy fish. @WryCritic made it look too easy with her AMAZING theropod while @Psammite7 drew this abstract trilobite. @RoryEBrowne tried really hard and you can, well see every minute of effort spent on it😅😂
We had our first event on our palaeo discord server last night! Art using only MS paint!
Our winner was @TiffanySSlater with 'Passenger Pigeon'. @HM_Byrne smashed a topical (and pained) Elpistostege. @ri_fi presented Edward Horriblehands & @Sketchy_raptor with this ace trike!
