The vested one (Hermes armor) would be more futuristic, using compact magitech in a way to focus more on boosting Bolt's agility by using particle vents on his chestplate's back and fore-leg armor to jet around, the back one even being able to amplify the output on his wings.

The trenchcoated one (Icarus/Bastard Dragoon armor) might appear tattered and damaged, having been his armor while he climbed back through the underground to the surface he fell from, the runes woven/engraved into it to protect Bolt not being able to hold for much longer.
