So I chose colours from the food, respresented them in my paintings as well.
I viewed Amala and Soup as siblings or soul sisters who share a deep bond and would rarely be seen separately.
The ewedu, the Natural,safe environment they create for themselves and find peace in.

I made a Series Of Painting inspired by the African Culture because I Saw a bond with them.
A particular type of food was rarely eaten alone and that made me see these combinations from another Angle...
What if they were humans?

A Painting About Àmalà.
Amala is an Indigenous Nigerian Food made from Yam Flour and common among Western Nigerians.
It is commonly eaten with Soup,Ewedu and sometimes Gbegiri.
Why did I decide to paint about this?
