@ScottTheWoz Heya! I specialize in stylized 2D artwork and I draw both characters (original and existing) and people from photographs. Here are a few examples of my work.
I think a Pokémon just makes sense at this point since Sakurai and Gamefreak have always capitalized on the opportunity to include a Pokémon from the latest games. I think It would likely be Zacian, Urshifu, or, one of the fully evolved starters (I personally want Cinderace).

@ElizaArtz Maybe it's because I read the entire original manga recently, but I think Yugi would be a cool fighter. To make it more interesting, I'd have his moveset based on season 0, using a variety of games and toys. Summoning Duel Monsters could be his final Smash.
