To give a little insight into the process of the Odin piece, Sketch, and Final in comparison:
@Alphons63 Adding a transparency layer for effects like sun rays or rainbows instead of doing so the classic pixel art way. It saves time, my sanity and it still looks nice.
Or adding even some small details with a soft brush and transparent overlay.
Rules in art are there for adapting them

If I can give you one piece of advice, don't listen to that voice badmouthing yourself it has absolutely no clue and shouldn't be listened to.
Been there done that and if I regret something it's listening to that nonsense.

I was quite sure about how I wanted the vampire version to look like. So there are not many steps involving this one here as it was also based on the normal head.
Also, always make some mood boards! Helps a lot to get a much more clear idea of how you want something to look!
