It's hard to believe this month marks one year of production on "Sirenetta: Part-Time Mermaid!" We've still got a loooooong way to go, but there are moments where I can see it starting to come together and that is so exciting!

@EDMeadArt I am! My team and I just started animating a feature length film about a month ago. It’s called “Sirenetta: Part-Time Mermaid,” and we have some really awesome people involved - I can’t wait to start sharing more about it soon!

It's #WorldOceansDay 2022, which also means it's been FIVE YEARS since we originally released "Sirenetta & the Second Star!" I've grown so much as an artist and storyteller since then, but I still have a lot of affection for our little web-show✨

Today I officially start something big, scary, and exciting. After a year of chipping away at it, I'm diving in headfirst to directing an indie feature film. This is going to be a long journey, but I'm so excited to tell the next chapter of Sirenetta's story 💙

Ending 2021 on a #FintasticFriday! Considering world events I can't say it's been a good year, but I am proud of what I accomplished. I've grown as an artist more than any year since college, achieved career-long goals, & learned to take myself more seriously by having more fun.

On 10/19/13, I posted the first episode of "Sirenetta" to YouTube. On 10/19/21, I'll finally release her latest adventure, "Sirenetta's Family Dinner," for all to enjoy! I've loved telling stories with this character over the last 8 years, and I hope I get to tell more soon!

#MerMay2021 is coming to a close, and while I didn't have time to draw every day, I did set a different goal for myself - finish a new "Sirenetta" script by the end of the month. Two days ago, I reached my goal!

Thank you so much to everyone who did my Draw This In Your Style Challenge! Seeing Sirenetta reimagined into different styles put such a big smile on my face, it really helped my 2nd quarantine birthday feel special!
