We haven't even touched on the effects of AI restoration as a whole; removing the grain from the original episodes, and leaving bleeding in the outlines (which sometimes look almost brown as opposed to the intended black).
You can especially see this in cases like Sarah's hair, Eddy's shirt, or the unforgivable change to Edd's shirt...
We don't tolerate orange shirt Edd around here.
At best, it doesn't look as bad on the digital work (Seasons 5-6, the specials).
At worst, Seasons 1-4 are absolutely butchered. Side-by-side comparisons (from the thumbnails, because I refuse to waste 7 GB on a single episode) make it clear just how bright everything becomes -
