How it started vs how it’s going

Here’s my initial thumbnail and first pass

I had a good idea of the colour scheme and lighting but after some great advice form @abigbat I altered the composition and got rid of those distracting floaty scrolls and embraced the symmetry

This is actually an image I’ve tried to paint a few times

This first one in 2019, but I didn’t have the skills to execute my concept and her design wasn’t as strong.
And also back in 2015, I gave up before I even finished sketching her figure, you can see I left myself notes😂
