Question for non-Japanese-speaking Japanese cards collectors: how recognisable are those four set logos for you? I feel like international set logos have much stronger identities, and I'd have a hard time telling what's what here if I couldn't read Japanese. But what about you?

@HotChocPTCG @OakParadise Japan's been doing these almost every year for the past six years. You might have heard of the cards below – they're all rewards from official sealed tournaments. With cards like that on the line, let me tell you it's not the easygoing prerelease atmosphere you're used to 😁

Personally I'd probably have gone for the Shibuzoh artwork instead anyway ☺️

Maybe it's a good thing they never made a promo card out of that Alolan Vulpix × Snow Miku official artwork from the 2020 Hokkaido Snow Festival. It would probably be a 300k+ yen card by now ❄️

The "Skyridge was the last WotC set so they really went crazy with the artwork" narrative being so popular really shows how little most people know about the history of the TCG or how it was made, but then again I don't mind people celebrating the amazing artwork from that set
