I feel like what separates average MC from Decent to Good to Great ones for me is kind of their outlook or how idealistic it is

I genuinely don’t understand how you can hate on Gintama. It’s literally everything a story has. You want emotion? Gintama. You want a good written protagonist and antagonists? Gintama. You want great world building. Gintama. You want peak side characters. Gintama.

I feel like most new gens now just dont have the it factor anymore, there isnt enough build up before you get the hype moments.
