#portfolioday Seeing as I've done a few portfolio posts, I thought I'd show off a few I haven't put on Twitter before.
@ChrisDPiazza @KahlilDavis4 I do think his are easily the best, yeah. The Giganotosaurus eating a dragon is *chef's kiss*
Procompsognathus in watercolour. I still have a lot to learn in this medium, but I'm having fun with it.
Fun fact, I actually redid a whole new Procompsognathus for the article, but ended up going with the old one anyway 'cause I liked how I snuck in the articulated hindlimb from the holotype. https://t.co/72vMa9sMy9
@Dinosaurus5936 Yes. I really like how the original V-Pet did it where each Child had 2 unique adults, a "normal" one (Tyranomon, Seadramon) and a more powerful special one (Greymon, Airdramon). I wish they didn't abandon it - at least visually - after the first version.
Someone needs to stop me or I'll just keep doing these forever. In any case I wanted to redo Triceratops using @skeletaldrawing's new T. horridus skeletal, and @Sketchy_raptor's muculature chart he's been working on. These both kind of get hidden under the skin though, oops.
@martsky @Scientits Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, there is no reason to think sauropods would have been unable to swim, and in fact we have trackways that seem to have caught them in the act!
@AlfredBarwick @T_rexellence I talk in the article about how I don't like the osteoderms, but mostly the proportions are just more off, the legs are too long, the tail is too small, the head is miles too big, and obviously the whole animal is massive. The juvenile isn't perfect but it is much closer.
