A couple days ago was 8 years since I first made anything with Inkscape, which was on March 24, 2013.
I used pre-made exploitable templates of the "SMEEL" and "shrugpony" memes and did versions for canon ponies. This is those two, plus "nya" (paffendorf) and "hey you" as Topaz.
Fire Streak returned the favor this year.
...Maybe a little too much, but there's no substitute for enthusiasm!

But no, during this "research" I saw that particular model of his mane at face on was present since Rainbow Falls, in the fourth season (for a total of two frames from two instances he turns his head)!
(Also notice his ears are erroneously in the same color as his suit.)
Now account how this may involve different angles or viewing perspectives. This post started covering Soarin's mane from the front, right?
The vector I was working on was him suited and his goggles on his mane, but before long I looked for shots of his front-mane in general:
