Momo's DF transformation is definitely caused by stress/fear of Doflamingo.
Does make you wonder what the "royal" upbringing of Doflamingo did to his view on the world. Him reclaiming Dressrosa feels like he sees it as his birthright
And after a long time of waiting we learn the power Doflamingo has, and who would have expected string to be so destructive!
The shipcrew fighting the Art DF user isn't superb, but I do love the visuals. The way it leads into the crew having to face off at Doflamingo is superb though, it feels like they're in way over their head against him
Even if Canvendish wasn't genuine, his defence of Rebecca is great. It reminds me of how Aizawa shut the crowd up in Bakugo vs Uraraka
The fighters in the colosseum are so insane, I love it. Chinjao having beef with Garp for punching his comically large head down is so funny
The confrontation of Law vs Donflamingo and the blind marine admiral is so metal
Then there's the absolute character that is Bartolomeo. A pirate getting inspired to become a pirate and fanboying over the Strawhats is absolutely great and really shows how much our heroes have impacted the world
I love the mix of different intentions for wanting the DF too. Cavendish wants it for vanity, Burgess is furthering Blackbeard's plans. And hey, Bellamy's back too!
The existence of living toys is very Oda. In a series of kung-fu dugongs, giants and fish-people, of course living toys would be real too!
It just makes sense
