EPISODE 9 - "How were you able to accomplish so much so quickly?"
"You would be surprised what you can pull of when your life depends on it"
Man what a solid end to a fantastic show
@RBlueberg It varies from villain to villain. King Amadeus' culture and personality cultivated a belief that perfection is compulsary.
Lucin Ivo is just trying to live life how she wants in a society which wasn't build to support her life-threatening and destructive lifestyle.
The Perfect Fit directed by Meinardas Valkevičius. Charming lil story about a kid who just wants to fit in and find a home.
The art-style and msuic was lovely and the moments when characters looked like/were styled around animals was neat.
Gabija Visockaite did great on the art
The Snowman by Diane Catsburrow Linnet. Really cute 1 minute film. I love how much character the snowman had, the ending made me chuckle
I loved the panelling - it was clear, it was effective and had some lovely shots, particularly the action ones.
All in all - a fun read! If you've got like £10 to spare and want more Garmadon content, this is probably for you!
The handling of Garmadon's contemplation and beginning to redemption was handled so differently from the show - and I prefer how they did it here.
Just learnt a bit more about the alternative covers. The B Covers are called "Legacy of Evil" and the C Covers by Tom Whalen are "Garmadon Evolutions"
I love the idea of having this theming to the alt covers, probably makes it much cooler as a collector item
And here it is, Garmadon's motivation to keep living, fighting and what he wants: Redemption.
I love this short transformation since it's a beautiful little paradox. An Oni who's purpose is to destroy using his abilities to protect others. Perfect
Omg Garmadon just force feeding him the tea until he's got too much power - that's so silly pftt
The amount of detail in this fight is so good, shoutout to that bear nibbling Mogra's helmet. Very bold of him to do that
