Fun fact: Sugimori stated in an interview that Hilda is the only female trainer to wear a cap! Her cap was also inspired by N’s cap design (since he was designed first), and her clothes were inspired by what “American girls in town” wear.

Unpopular Opinion(?): I think I’m the only one who isn’t fed up with Pikachu nowadays. Sure there are heaps of other Pokémon, but Pikachu really is the perfect mascot, so I don’t blame them for “overusing” him. He also has two great evolution lines that are also special to me.
