The time has come to revisit the Sonic Advance trilogy!

And to kick things off... well, it's Sonic Advance. The first one. Obviously.

anyway now that I've got the Big Ol' MMO downloaded, tonight I'll be kicking off my next 'series' of streams

...that might just be because it makes him easier to draw though

@Bakusatsuou24 I'm not too concerned with Sonic looking grumpy 24/7 for attitude. Classic Sonic's always had an inherent bit of cuteness to his design, and I think it works fine; his personality is where the attitude comes through, so in that sense he's deceptively cute

@enderelectrics You'd think so, but... not really. The CG renders have way more pronounced eyebrows, slightly weirder proportions (the tummy), and the dreaded *assbrow* thing

I still really quite like Classic Sonic's (ingame) model in Gens and Forces

It can certainly be improved (eyelids and the mouth, mainly) but I think it's at least a solid attempt at translating Ohshima's original art to 3D

also I find it really weird that Mimi's in the intro/credits for the game but only Nyami is actually... *in* the game

I thought Mimi would be Nyami's assist character but she just has Dino, like King does
