First ones out for tend to be a bit wonky, but with some evolution they turn out quite nice. If you wanted to use an AI to rapidly previsualize concepts to develop by hand, MJ has the edge there.

results on the same prompt are wildly different. MJ just can't do cel style animation, not with any combination of prompts I've found at least, but what it does make is more artistic, moodier, and less "obvious"

Even the "ugly duckling" generations out of that set are very recognizable as cel animation, with some modern digital flourish. It wouldn't tak emuch work to turn these into passable faux-screencaps.

Fortunately, if you're on the $30 plan, you can set yourself to /relax mode and things process slower, but you don't use up your time. Not seeing a lot of that in the ready-for-artist-use space. And being on discord means you can trade tips with folks easy.

updated its deal and the jump is significant. Details are cleaner, anatomy is less horrific, and concepts come through more clearly. I don't think its the full LIAON-3B dataset yet, so there's more to look forward to. But color me impressed.
