This could still be true but the fact it didn't return with Hero makes me think it was purposely omitted for future plans. The outfit was a big deal in 4, and with the fanservice in Ulti, you'd think they'd bring it back if he wasn't playable?

Just had the pleasure to read @Drooling_Demon's STAR IMPACT! What a creative idea! Having different boxing gloves each with unique skills and abilities with fun and bouncy characters topped with a really sharp and striking artstyle mixed with a cute vibe. Just a big mix of great!

Thought just crossed my mind. Since we're probably not getting Geno as a fighter, I'd be perfectly content if they just brought back the Mii Costume but gave it the sans treatment with a fully modeled mask and those two music tracks that were taken down.
