9. Maruki is the easiest pick I've made all list LOL. One of the best-written characters in the entire series with each rank up progressing the storyline in a meaningful way. Getting a deeper understanding of his mentality is so fascinating you can't help but get invested.

8. CONVICT is the one my buddy @pixelsdrew whipped up for me and I think it's pretty sick. I wanted something to do with chains and breaking free from the things that lock you down. (Which is just P5 Awakenings in general now that I say it out loud) Regardless! It's cool.

3. Arsene is just so damn cool. Great inspiration, fantastic design, and his involvement with the story give him big bonus points. You know who's just as cool? His direct parallel Loki, I never cease to get hype every time he pops up on screen.

2. Haru is just one of those characters I never super connected with. I acknowledge she's written well but I just never really cared much for her kind of archetype. (Doesn't help she's sadly linked to the worst arc and a victim of screentime hell.) I like her but not that much.

Every time I thought I knew where to place #hunterxhunter it just kept getting better. I absolutely adored this series. It blew me away with how consistent the quality was from start to finish while still finding new ways to surprise me.
