Just finished reading Fellowship of the Ring.
I read somewhere that J. R. R. Tolkien wrote a "wrathful" response when he saw Legolas fan art that depicted him as "pretty" & "ladylike". He wanted Legolas to be super manly.
I decided to ignore Tolkien.
Don’t worry everyone, Hol Horse quit smoking over the course of Part 3. Congrats to Hol Horse. I’m very proud of him.

The most famous of these narratives in Western culture is of course the Exodus story which involves Moses and the Jews wandering in the desert after their enslavement in Egypt. Eventually they find the promised land of Canaan.
