Jojo's Bizarre Adventure artist Hirohiko Araki illustrating historical figures is literally the coolest thing I have ever seen. I need an entire history textbook filled with his versions of people. (Left: Julius Caesar, Right: Jesus of Nazareth)
the "quirk count" was one of my proudest things I have ever created
Also just finished reading Arthur C Clarke's "Childhood's End" & man was it fascinating. I love the strange devil design of the Overlords and the mystery around them. Led Zeppelin's Houses of Holy goes really well at capturing the vibe I got from the book, particularly No Quarter
Wayne Barlowe’s “Gyrosprinter” illustration from the Expedition (1990). He confessed it was one of if not his favorite in the entire book and I have to agree. Great sense of mood, color, scale, and life in this image. As well as the creature’s bizarre “fused” limbs
@SanjuroKuwabat1 Oh yeah... yeah those dinos weren’t the best. At least Araki got the skull somewhat right :/
@STUBBY61858089 Hey thank you so much for the message! Happy you enjoy the channel :) Pretty sure what you got here is a shark. The fins have fin-rays in them like a shark/fish (not bones like in a whale or dolphin). 99% sure you got another basking shark or some other kind of shark ;)
